Eidelweiss (Madison, NH): Eidelweiss is a community of about 400 homes. Most are vacation homes, but there are about 100 full-time owners as well. Eidelweiss is located in Madison, which is about 15 minutes from Conway. It takes about 25 minutes to get to Cranmore, 40 minutes to Attitash or Story Land.

There are three ponds in Eidelweiss - Little Pea Porridge, Middle Pea Porridge, and Big Pea Porridge Ponds. There are five sandy beaches on the three ponds. All are great for swimming, launching a canoe or kayak, or just relaxing in the sun. There are small parking areas at each.

Eidelweiss is about 10 minutes from Silver Lake, which is great for motor boating. There is a boat launch & beach there as well.

Chocorua Ski & Beach Club (Tamworth, NH): Ski & Beach is a community of about 200 homes. There is a GREAT sandy beach on Moore's Pond, which is a 40 acre pond that is very quiet & has great mountain views. Ski & Beach also has a tennis court, basketball court, and direct access to snowmobile trails.

It takes about 30 minutes to get to Conway - about 45 to Cranmore. About an hour to Attitash or Story Land.

If you want to bring a motor boat, Ossipee Lake is only 10 minutes away.

Cranmore Shores (Conway, NH): Cranmore Shores is on the border of Conway and Madison - about 15 minutes to North Conway, 20 minutes to Cranmore, 35 to Attitash or Story Land. Cranmore Shores has a private beach on Pequawket Pond, which is great for summer swimming.
